David Mitchell Bean

Mr. David Mitchell Bean of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020, at The Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 64 years, 7 months, and 13 days. He was born on Sunday, August 14, 1955, in Glasgow, Kentucky, the son of James "Peaches" and Marie (Smith) Bean. He was of the Christian faith, attended the Faith Assembly Church in Clarksville, Indiana, a local business owner, running Beans Stop and Shop for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie (Poindexter) Bean whom he wed on Tuesday, December 26, 1978, daughter, Sarah Bean of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Eleanor Polston of Knifley, Kentucky, Mike (and Carolyn) Bean of Burkesville, Kentucky, Charles (and Melissa) Bean of Burkesville, Kentucky, along with a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral was conducted on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. J.C. Allen officiating, with special music and singing by the White Family, whose members include Michelle MacKenzie, Robin MacKenzie, Becky Roth, Hope White and Hannah North. Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Tim Polston, Phillip Smith, Daniel Polston, Tim Warren, Steve Bean and Brandon Bean.
