Veronica Jenelle Oliver

Miss Veronica Jenelle Oliver of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 57 years, 3 months, and 9 days. She was born in East Peoria, Illinois on Saturday, June 20, 1964, the daughter of M. V. and Mary (Hopkins) Gibson. She was of Baptist faith, a member of Burkesville Separate Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Granville and Juanita Hopkins, aunt, Ina Mercer, and her uncle, Phillip Hopkins

She is survived by her parents, M. V. and Mary Gibson of Burkesville, Kentucky, her brother, James (Sylvia) Vincent of Georgetown, Kentucky, her step-sister, Shelia Witherspoon of Albany, Kentucky, and her aunt, Bertha Conner of Albany, Kentucky.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial was in the Grider Hill Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were James Vincent, Travis Garmon, Zack Garmon, Eric Mercer, David Hopkins, and Donnie Hopkins. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
