Shirley Ann (Hardin) Shoopman

Mrs. Shirley Ann (Hardin) Shoopman of Louisville, formerly of Burkesville,  Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the UofL Health - Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 73 years, and 12 days. She was born on Sunday, July 15, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Ballard H. & Lillie Mae (Evans) Hardin. She was of the Christian faith, a member of Guthrie Chapel Methodist Church, and a loving homemaker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband Sonny Shoopman, whom she wed on Saturday, March 17, 1973, brother David Hardin, sisters, Sharon Blakely, and Kathy Hardin.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Shoopman, Kevin Shoopman, both of Louisville Kentucky, and Bobby Shoopman of Shelbyville, Kentucky.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday August 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of the Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. David Davis officiating. Burial was in the Guthrie Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Stephen Shoopman, Kevin Shoopman, Bobby Shoopman, Ryan Shoopman, Gary Shoopman, and Ron Shoopman.

Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
