Shirel Arlene Neal

Ms. Shirel Arlene Neal of Edmonton, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 65 years, 10 months, and 12 days. She was born on Friday, September 12, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN, the daughter of James Chester & Mary (Harris) Neal. She was of the Christian faith, and a medical assistant. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Ryan, sisters, Patricia Morgan, Barbara Thurman, and brother, Norman Leon Neal.  

She is survived by her daughter Kali Bonnema of Edmonton, Kentucky, siblings, Kim Severe of Burkesville, Kentucky, Helen (& Junior) Rhoton of Indianapolis, Indiana, James Robert “Bobby” Neal of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Rylan Bonnema, Emmett Bonnema, Ariella Bonnema, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted on at a later date.
