Sharon (Marston) Wise

Mrs. Sharon Marston Wise of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Vanderbilt Medical Center, in Nashville, Tennessee, having attained the age of 76 years, 11 months, and 1 day. 

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday, November 21, 1946 to Edward J. and Ruth (Spelman) Marston. She spent much of her life in Indianapolis, and was a Psychiatric Therapist for Life Skills, proud owner of Alpacas of Cedar Ridge, and of the Presbyterian faith.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Susanne Mennella.

She is survived by her husband, Donald H. Wise, whom she wed on Friday, February 7, 1969, her children, Michael Toby (&Pamela) Wise, of Fort Wayne Indiana, Kerri Susanne (&Matt) Whitaker of Burkesville, Kentucky, Jeremy Michael Wise of Glasgow, Kentucky, grandchildren, Mikela and Caleb, Victoria, Jacob, Grace, Arianna, Elijah, Griffin, Levi, River and Isaiah.

A graveside service was conducted on, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the family farm with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. casket bearers were Jacob Witaker, Mike Wise, Caleb Wise, Travis Trussell, Darren Hatfield, and Jeremy Wise. The family received friends beginning at 12:30 pm CST until 2:30 pm CST at the First Presbyterian Church at 200 East Washington Street, Glasgow, Kentucky, Burial was in the Wise Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
