Roy Willard Davidson

Mr. Roy W. Davidson, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 66 years, and 29 days. He was born on Friday, July 30, 1954 in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Dennie and Maglene (Bean) Davidson. He was a Christian of the Methodist Faith, a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, and he received his Bachelors degree from Western Kentucky University. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Donald Thomerson.

     He is survived by his siblings Dewayne (and Peggy) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky, Rhonda Thomerson of Columbia, Kentucky, Randall (and Susan) Davidson of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Judy (and Arthur) Bryant of Russell Springs, Kentucky, special friends, Jo Murley and Hazel Smith, also many other friends and loved ones.

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. John Shepherd officiating. Casket bearers were, Lucas Davidson, Chad Davidson, David Thomerson, Jeremy Poland, Branson Poland, Todd Davidson, Joey Davidson.  Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky.

     Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
