Roger Wayne Humphrey

Mr. Roger Wayne Humphrey, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, at his residence in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 2 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Tuesday October 8, 1957, the son of Eugene and Thelma (Capps) Humphrey. He was of the Baptist faith attending Grace Union Baptist Church and was a welder for Rocore, and an employee for Don Franklin Chevrolet in Burkesville, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Georgetta Adams. He is survived by his sister, Alfretta (and Phillip) Murphy of Burkesville, Kentucky, niece, Sarah Marcell, nephews, Tracy Murphy, Will Adams. The graveside service was conducted on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Humphrey Cemetery with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating and a eulogy was shared by his family member, Mike Humphrey. Burial was in the Humphrey Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were his coworkers from Don Franklin Chevrolet in Burkesville, Kentucky and his friends. Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
