Robert Wray

Mr. Robert Wray of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 64 Years & 7 days. He was born on Friday, September 15, 1961, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Howard & Evelyn (Johnson) Wray. He was of the Christian Faith, a member of Rose of Sharon Church, and worked as a logger for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Amy (Branham) Wray, whom he wed on June 30, 1981, and brother, Roger Wray.

He is survived by his children, Kim (& Bret) Wray-Dyer, Nathan (& Jessica) Wray, both of Burkesville, siblings, Rondall (& Julie) Wray, Charles (& Beverly) Wray, Joe (& Felicia) Wray, Jackie Craft, and Judy Craft, all of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Bailey Wray, Hailey Wray, Katelyn Wray (Weston Coe), Maddison Wray, Olivia Dyer, great-grandchild, Ainsley Coe, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Huckleby officiating. Burial was in the Wray Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were David Wray, Christopher Wray, Nicholas Wray, Lucas Wray, Danny Joe Wray, and Brian Groce. Honorary Casket Bearer was Alan Scott.
