Mrs. Robbie Jewell (Branham) Murray, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 8, 2021, at The Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 5 days. She was born on Thursday, May 3, 1934 in Cumberland County, Kentucky the daughter of Dennis “Jack” and Lockie Avo (Riley) Branham She was of the Methodist faith, a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church, a business owner, owning Kens Service and Sales in Burkesville, founding member of We Care, and a board member at Davis Cemetery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Murray, brothers, James Branham, Marshall Branham, Sherman “Tack” Branham, sons, Steve Murray, Jerry Murray, David Murray, great-grandson, Jared Graham.
She is survived by her children, Larry Murray of Burkesville, Kentucky, Brenda (& Tom) Helms of New Castle, Indiana, Faye (& Alvin) Pharis of Burkesville, Kentucky, daughters-in-law, Pam Murray of Glasgow, Kentucky, Sharon Murray of Burkesville, Kentucky, Tammy Hall (& Jerry) of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Earl (& Peggy) Branham of Burkesville, Kentucky, Margaret Serra of Glasgow, Kentucky, grandchildren, Cindy, Brian, Tommy, Michelle, Jonathan, Beth, Steven, Alisha, Stacey, Brad, and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted Sunday, February 14, 2021, at 1:00 pm in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Lanny Garner officiating. Casket bearers were Trevor Murray, Brad Helms, Brian Pharis, Jonathan Pharis, Tommy Murray, Jackson Pharis, Eddie Branham. Honorary casket bearers were Hazel smith, Bernice Boston, Sandy Cash, Nora Mae Brown, Jean Sells, Deanna Willis, Cora Duncin, Patricia Garner, Linda Brown, Tammy Dyer, Wanda Branham, Molly Davis, Effie Johnson, Anna Bill, Libby Mullinex, Melissa Bean, Linda Riddle, Phyllis Riddle, Jeri Rush, Doug Sandlin, Crystal Claywell, Karen Henson, Anne Beale, Larry Beale, Jim Roth, Marcia Roth, Stella Davidson, Gail Medlin, Donna Branham, Carol Sims, Holly Sims.  Burial was in the Davis Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to the Davis Cemetery Fund in Mrs. Murray’s Memory and may be left at the funeral home. Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
