Robbie Ferguson Obituary

Mrs. Robbie Lee (Watson) Fitzgerald Ferguson, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 97 years, 8 months and 8 days. She was born in the Peytonsburg Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky on Tuesday, May 23, 1922 the daughter of Arnold and Annie (Coop) Watson. She was a member of The Christian Chapel Church of Christ, Cumberland County Homemakers since their inception, a founding member of the Cumberland County Quilt Guild, and a 4-H leader. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Fitzgerald, and Paul Ferguson, infant daughter Rebecca Fitzgerald, brothers, Raymond Watson, Richard "Dickie" Watson, sister, Dora Helen Barbour, son-in-law, Lt. Col. James Graham, great-granddaughter Jayma Ware, grandson, Jon Hubbard. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Graham of Rickman, Tennessee, Carolyn (Herm) Hubbard of Rickman, Tennessee, Shelia (and Mike) Keeffe of Baxter, Tennessee, her sisters, Christine Werner of Louisvile, Kentucky, Pat Dalton of Birmingham, Alabama, grandchildren Teresa, Trent, Tory, Marnita, Leslie, Aaron, Brian, Brent, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Margaret Watson of Brownsburg, Indiana. The Funeral service was conducted on Monday, February 10, 2020 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Thompson officiating, a eulogy was shared by Rick Garner, a reading was shared by her sister, Pat Dalton, comments, reflections, scripture and prayer were shared by her grandsons, Les Hubbard and Aaron Hubbard. Song leadership was provided by Bro. Tommy Watson. Burial was in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Brian Willis, Brent Willis, Trent Graham, Aaron Hubbard, Les Hubbard and Marcus Luton. Honorary Casket Bearers were Teresa Luton and Marnita Ware. Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
