Ricky Lee Groce

Ricky Groce, 59, passed away March 6, 2024 at Centennial Tri Star Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on Monday, May 18, 1964, in Burkesville, Kentucky to David “Sleepy” and Janice (Flowers) Groce. He was a Christian, a member of Branham Grove Baptist Church and a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, David “Sleepy” Groce, his paternal grandparents, Birdie and Cleo Groce and his maternal grandparents, George and Alma Flowers.

He is survived by his mother, Janice (Flowers) Groce of Burkesville, Kentucky, his sister, Barbara (& Andy) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky.

The graveside service was conducted on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. C.S. T. at the Branham Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all funeral arrangements.
