Phillip Neal Stailey

Mr. Phillip Neal Stailey, of Burkesville, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 72 years, 7 months & 9 days. He was born on Sunday, November 20, 1949, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of William Clarence and Betty Pearl (Jesse) Stailey. He was a 1969 graduate of Cumberland County High School, and a self employed brick mason.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Allie (Stailey) Scott, Margaret (Stailey) Farlee, Kyle Stailey, nephew, Jack Scott, niece, Gail Haisley.

     He is survived by his children, Heath Staley of Burkesville, Kentucky, Kenny (& Amanda) Staley of Midland, Texas, Seth Staley (& Tessia Humphrey) of Burkesville, Kentucky, Azure (& Tracey) Groce of Burkesville, Kentucky, Ty Staley (& Mary Alex Owens) of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Bennie (& Gaye) Stailey of Burkesville, Kentucky, Phyllis (Stailey) Sanders of Glasgow, Kentucky, grandchildren, Sienna (& Jacob) Patrick, Phillip Thomas “John” Staley, Zoe Staley, Zia Grider, Zander Groce, Curtis Groce, Molly Groce, Alexxus Staley, Jaxxson Staley, Maxxton Staley, Paxxton Staley, great-grandchildren, Brinley Patrick, Lainey Groce.

     The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Owsley officiating.
