Philip Allen Murphy

Mr. Philip Allen Murphy of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at The Cumberland County Hospital, having attained the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 5 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Monday, September 15, 1947, the son of Hiram and Gladys (Baker) Murphy. He was of the Methodist faith, a 1966 graduate of Cumberland County High School, and a self employed salesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Alfretta (Humphrey) Murphy, whom he wed on Saturday, August 24, 1968, of Burkesville, Kentucky, son, Philip Tracy Murphy of Burkesville, Kentucky, Roscoe of Burkesville, Kentucky, and many cherished friends.
