Mrs. Peggy Charlene (Keeton) Gwinn, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, formerly of Cumberland County, widow of Keith Gwinn, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, at her residence in Mount Washington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 21 days. She was born on September 14, 1943, to Hall E. & Lusada (Neeley) Keeton, in Glasgow Kentucky. She was of the Christian faith, and worked as a computer analyst for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Allen Gwinn, whom she wed on June 11, 1960.
She is survived by her children, Barry (& Pam) Gwinn, Robert (& Shelly) Gwinn, both of Louisville, Kentucky, sibling, Patsy (& Fred) Newby, of Charlestown, Indiana, grandchildren, Michael Gwinn, Amy Hack, Christopher Gwinn, Coty Gwinn, Hannah Grim, Jacob Gwinn, and Erica Tackett, and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted on Sunday September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with burial in the Christian Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Michael Gwinn, Jacob Gwinn, Christopher Gwinn, Caleb Gwinn, Ryan Tackett, and Austin Hack. Honorary casket bearers were Chad Hack and Jason Grim.
Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
