Patty Nell (Lawson) Elliott

Mrs. Patty Nell (Lawson) Elliott, of Burkesville, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 89 years, 8 months and 22 days. She was born in Bakerton, Kentucky on Monday, June 4, 1934, the daughter of Audrey Lawson. She was of the Christian faith, a member of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and worked as a teacher for Cumberland County Board of Education for many years. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Keith Elliott, daughters, Akra Wilburn, Audrey Elliott Tooley, and Donna Elliott.

She is survived by her children, Edsel Elliott, Angie (& Ricky) Hamilton, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Nathan (& Erin) Wilburn, Colletta Espinosa, Adrienne (& Thomas) Jackson, R.D. (& Heather) Tooley, Camitra (& Michael) Connor, Patrick Hamilton, Jory Elliott, Paige Gibson, Devon Elliott, Dakota Elliott, Aubrey Elliott, Jaelyn Staley, and Jasmine (& Seth) Elliott Steele.

The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. C.S. T. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Sister Sandra Pace, Dr. Fred Williams, Bishop Jose Anders, and Pastor James Starks officiating. Special Music by Bishop Jose Anders. Burial was in the Lawson Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Seth Steele, Patrick Hamilton, Nathan Wilburn, Michael Connor, R.D. Tooley, Derrick Tooley.
