Patty (Norris) Bow

Mrs. Patty Carol (Norris) Bow, of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Cumberland Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 78 years, 1 month, and 16 days. She was born on Friday, January 10, 1947, in Barren County, Kentucky, the daughter of Oscar & Jewell (Booher) Norris. She was of the Christian faith, a member of Branham Grove Baptist Church, and worked as a seamstress for Bob Evans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bow, whom she wed on, Saturday, December 24, 1977, step-mother, Virgie Norris, sister, Grace Wright, step-brothers, James McClusky, Alfred Hill, and niece, Pam Lowe.

She is survived by her siblings, Garon (Elsie) Norris of Edmonton Kentucky, Timmy (Melody) Norris of Sebring, Florida, Gail (Benny) Waid of Burkesville, Kentucky, several nieces & nephews, step-brothers, Charles (& Judy) Wheeler, Elvis (& Tammy) Thacker, and Junior (& Debra) Thacker, all of Burkesville, Kentucky.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Nickie Richards officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Mark Lee, Benny Waid, Chris Thacker, David Waid, Elvis Thacker, and Terry Riley. Honorary Casket Bearers were Sawyer Capps, James Sharp, Theodore Sharp, Landen Copas.
