Norman Joe Weston

Norman Joe Weston, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Kentucky having attained the age of 60 years. He was born in Monticello, Kentucky on Thursday, August 27, 1959 the son of Joseph Everett and Tena Emory (Rivers) Weston. He attended the Gethsemane Baptist Church, a carpenter, and a member of the National Guard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by special friend, Deborah Capps Polston, his brother, Buddy Joe Weston, brothers-in-law, Tommy York and Dave Gurley, sister-in-law, Shirley Weston, nephew, Wade Weston, and a grandson Devin Polston. He is survived by his daughter Jodie Weston of Burkesville, Kentucky, his son, Jessie Weston of Albany, Kentucky, siblings, Janice York of Winchester, Indiana, Joseph Weston of Richmond, Indiana, Mary Gurley of Vevay, Indiana, Virginia (and Gary) Weilenman of Cambridge City, Indiana, Jasper (and Rhonda) Weston of Richmond, Indiana, and 10 grandchildren. Special friends, Katrina Cashin, also Sue Capps and Linda Smith. The Funeral service was conducted on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Paul A. Davidson officiating. Casket bearers were Ernie Sproles, Alan Weston, Gary Weilenman, Jerry Denney, Ethan Shelton, Timmy Young, and Jessie Weston. Burial was in the Capps-Key Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky.. In lieu of flowers contributions appreciated to the Norman Joe Weston Memorial Fund and may be left at the funeral home. Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
