Michael Joseph Neathery

Mr. Michael Joseph “Michael Joe” Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at his residence having attained the age of 34 years, 2 months & 21 days. He was born on Saturday, June 25, 1988, in Burkesville, Kentucky the son of Michael Lee and Eva (Walker) Neathery. He was a Christian and a logger for Watson Logging.

   He is survived by his father, Michael Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, his mother, Eva (Walker) Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, his son, Matthew Neathery of Cave City, Kentucky, his paternal grandmother, Bobbi Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, his siblings, Melanie (& Will) Arms of Albany, Kentucky, Emily Neathery of Burkesville, Kentucky, aunt, Susie McCoy of Burkesville, Kentucky, uncle, Douglas Neathery of Hilham, Tennessee, and a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

 The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Casket bearers were Richard McCoy, Josh York, Randy Hardin, Dusty Hayes, Lance Madison, Will Arms, and Cody Willis. Burial was in the Perkins Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky. 

     Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
