Mr. Michael Gene McIntyre of the Breeding Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky having attained the age of 67 years, 1 month, and 22 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky, on Sunday, November 14, 1954, the son of Leonard David and Betty (Spears) McIntyre. He was a local lumber inspector, working for various sawmills in the area.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by nephew, Benjamin Gibson, brother-in-law, Randy Gibson.
He is survived by his wife, Charolette (Gibson) McIntyre, whom he wed on Friday, December 22, 1978 of Breeding, Kentucky, daughter, Amanda (& Larry) England of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Denis (& Larry) Anderson of Burkesville, Kentucky, David (& Stacy) McIntyre of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Lincoln England, Kennedy England, Truman England, brother-in-law, Billy Joe (Rachel) Gibson of Illinois, sister-in-law, Dottie Gibson, mother-in-law, Shirley Gibson, nieces and nephews, Kendra McIntyre, Kiri (& Garrett) Gray, and Landon McIntyre.
The funeral service for Mr. Michael Gene McIntyre was conducted on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Nickie Richards. Casket bearers were Lincoln England, Landon McIntyre, Ricky Spears, Doug Spears, Kermit Rigsby, Calvin Judd, Pat Brown, James Davidson, Thomas J. Brown, Larry England, B.J. Gibson. Burial was in the Fudge Cemetery in Breeding, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
