Mrs. Mary R. Severe Harris of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday April 11, 2020, at N.H.C. Healthcare in Glasgow, Kentucky, having attained the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 5 days. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Saturday, November 6, 1943, the daughter of Halton and Carmon Cain Severe. She was a seamstress having worked for Osk Kosh Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Randell (and Carol) Abney of Celina, Tennessee, Willie (and Lisa) Riley of Burkesville, Kentucky, James Riley of Burkesville, Kentucky and Michael Harris of Burkesville, Kentucky, her siblings, Hazel Eckhart of Burkesville, Kentucky, Avo Huddleston of Burkesville, Kentucky, Bonnie Smith of Albany, Kentucky and Bobby Lee Severe of Burkesville, Kentucky, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. As ordered by the Governor of Kentucky, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, all services are private, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bro. Charles Huddleston officiated. Casket bearers were Willie Riley, James Riley, Mickel Harris, Randell Abney, Bob Severe, Jeremy Severe. Burial was in the Pruitt Cemetery in Peytonsburg, Kentucky.
