Mark Lee Thacker

Mr. Mark Lee Thacker of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro, Kentucky, having attained the age of 46 years, 10 months, and 14 days. He was born on Monday, September 18, 1977 in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Robert Hershel & Geneva (Thrasher) Thacker. Mark served in the U.S. Army as an E-4 Specialist Airborne Ranger. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Thacker, nephew, Justin Thacker, half-brother, Wayne Thacker, and half-sisters, Pansy Barger, Alene Riddle, and Malbie Perkins.

He is survived by his children, Sabrinna Thacker, Albany, Kentucky, Colton Thacker, Amara Thacker, and Gavin Thacker, all of Monticello, Kentucky, siblings, Sally McKee of Montana, Junior Thrasher of New Mexico, David (& Lisa) Thacker of Burkesville, Kentucky, special brothers, Kevin (& Courtney) Thacker, Jason “Bubbles” Wray of Burkesville, Kentucky, Michael (& Tonya) Hardin of Burkesville, and grandchild, Xavior Allen Hall.

A memorial service will be held on a later date.
