Marilyn (Pace) Hayes

Mrs. Marilyn (Pace) Hayes of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at her residence having attained the age of 70 years, 8 months, and 11 days. She was born on Friday, November 18, 1955, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the daughter of Stella Pace. Marilyn was of the Christian faith, a caregiver and faithfully devoted her life to caring for others. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Ike” Pace.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Allen Hayes, whom she wed in March of 1988; children, Martina Pace (& Curt) Rozean of Springfield, Missouri, India (& Darren) Blankenship of Scottsville, Kentucky, Sierra Hayes (& Scott) Grayum of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Mary Hayes (& Jerred) Williams of Burkesville, Kentucky; siblings, Alfonzo Grundy Pace of Celina, Tennessee, Sister Sandra Pace of Burkesville, Kentucky, Freda Mae Pace of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Samara, Tiarra, Ethan, Moriah, Marley, Connor, Alyssa, Creedence, Jett, Maverick; step-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Jason, Layla; and a great-granddaughter, Renesmae.

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Sister Sandra Pace, Bro. Gene Norris, and Martina Rozean officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 7, 2026, after 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contribution appreciated to the Marilyn Hayes Memorial Fund c/o Norris-New Funeral Home.
