Malcolm Humphrey

Mr. Malcolm Humphrey Of Burkesville, Kentucky died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 78 years 2 months, & 8 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Monday, September 18, 1944 the son of Eston and Madie (Perkins) Humphrey. He was a tree trimmer for Tri-county Electric Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Owen, half-sister, Betty Cannon, half-brothers, Fred Humphrey, Morris Humphrey, and Eddie Humphrey.

      He is survived by his wife, Sue Humphrey, whom he wed on Saturday, July 3, 1976, daughters, Tina, Cindy, Misty, brother, Jack (Kathy) Humphrey of Sparta, Tennessee, sister-in-law , Josie Humphrey of Burkesville, Kentucky, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

     The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 1.p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Casket bearers were J.D. Humphrey, Justin Stalker, Parker Hickman, Tony Riddle, J.R. Thacker, and Larry Palmer. Burial was in Spears Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
