Lucille Anderson, 100, of Franklin, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026.
She was born on January 24, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Royce and Maudie (Humphrey) Anderson. Lucille is survived by her church family, cousins and neighbors.
She graduated from high school in Marrowbone, Kentucky and Business College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lucille was employed by RCA for ten years and later worked for many years in Data Processing at Fort Benjamin Harrison, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Amity Baptist Church, ABW American Baptist Women and the Nineveh Senior Center.
Chaplain Deb Baker conducted a Celebration of Lucille’s life on Thursday, March 5th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Otterbein Franklin SeniorLife Community, 1070 W. Jefferson Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131 with Visitation on Thursday, March 5th, at 10:00 a.m. to time of service. A graveside burial was held on Friday, March 6th at 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) at Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
