Larry Dale Murray

Mr. Larry Dale Murray of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 69 years, 11 months, and 24 days. He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Monday, June 27, 1955, the son of Kenneth Allen and Robbie Jewell (Branham) Murray. He worked for Ken’s Service Sales, installing T.V. cables and satellite dish’s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David Murray, Steve Murray, Jerry Murray, brother-in-law, Tom Helms, maternal grandparents, Dennis “Jack” & Lockie Avo Branham, paternal grandparents, John & Bessie Murray.

He is survived by his children, Alicia Coomer, Stacey N. Murray, sisters, Brenda Helms all of New Castle, Indiana, Faye (& Alvin) Pharis of Burkesville, Kentucky, sister-in-law, Pam (& Darrell) Murray Branham, Sharon Murray, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Eric Coomer, Austin Coomer, Alyse Coomer, and Kaleb Wright, his first cousin and best friend, John Carter.

A Private graveside service was conducted on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. C.S.T. at the Davis Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating, burial to follow. Military honors by the Monticello DAV Chapter #105. Casket bearers were John Carter, Jacob Carter, Austin Coomer and Eric Coomer.
