Kris Shepherd

Mr. Kristian Bradley Shepherd of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in Lexington, Kentucky, having attained the age of 50 years, 11 months, and 6 days. He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Friday, October 16, 1970, the son of Steven Dale and Mary Jane Shepherd. He was of Methodist faith, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Dale Shepherd, paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Margie (Murphy) Shepherd, maternal grandparents, Karl and Margaret Kemp.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Watson, first cousin, Russell D. Shepherd, great-uncle, Gary (& Marleen) Murphy, great-aunt, Becky Spears.

The memorial service for Mr. Shepherd was conducted on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 8:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Tony Hancock officiating. Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
