Kenneth Wayne Spears

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Spears of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Summer Shade, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 62 years, 9 months, and 20 day. He was born in the Maple Hill Hospital in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, August 28, 1958, the son of James Haskel “Hack” & Hilda Mae (Perkins) Spears. He was of the Baptist faith, attended Bow School House United Baptist Church, and was a truck driver.

 He was preceded in death by his parents.

 He is survived by his brother, Harold (& Peggy) Spears of Louisville, Kentucky, uncle, Glen (& Vivian) Perkins of Burkesville, Kentucky, niece, Tanya (& Charlie) Matthews of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, nephew, Rick Spears of Louisville, Kentucky, great-nieces, Emma Matthews, Isabelle Spears, & Alyvia Spears.

     The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Matthews officiating. Casket bearers were Rick Spears, Greg Moons, Darrel Moons, David Moons, Mark Beard, Alex Savage.  Burial was in the Bow School House Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
