Mr. Joseph Waine Farlee of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 70 years, 3 months, 30 days. He was of the Pentecostal faith, a mechanic for Longs Citgo, Carpenter for P & M & Sons Construction. He is preceeded in death by his parents, brothers, Wade Farlee, Kelsey Farley Danny "Boone" Farlee, sisters-in-law, Margaret Farlee, Ann Farlee.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Louise (Vibbert) Farlee of Burkesville, Kentucky, whom he wed on Saturday, December 14, 1968, children, Timmy (& Jennifer) Farlee of Marrowbone, Kentucky, Tammy Vibbert of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Harold Farlee “Shorty” of Daleville, Indiana, Starr Farlee of Alexandria, Indiana, Kenny (& Wendy) Farlee of Alexandria, Indiana, grandchildren Krystina (& Ryan) Shoopman, Whitney (& Dakota) Hunter, Andrea Farlee, Azura Vibbert, Autumn Hughes, great-grandchildren, Elydjah Hunter, Owen Hunter, Greenleigh Shoopman.

     The funeral was conducted on Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Gary Hardin, & Bro. Bill Garmon officiating. Special music by the Marrowbone Quartet. Casket bearers were William Vibbert, Michael Vibbert, DaKota Hunter, Ryan Shoopman, Lucas Thompson, Jason Vibbert. Honorary casket bearers were Joseph Gibson, Freddie Short, Keith Walker, Bennie Stailey, Phillip Stailey, Dr. Sam Rice, Tommy Corbin, Jeff Farlee. Burial was in the Mud Camp Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
