Miss. Jennifer Allen McComas of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 6, 2020, at The Park Assisted Living in Louisville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 26 days. She was born in Larue County, Kentucky on Wednesday, August 11, 1948, the daughter of Walter Leslie McComas, Jr. and Betty Burr (McComas) McComas. She was a social worker for the State of Kentucky Human Resources and a member of Allie Cats Advocates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter Leslie "Less" McComas, Sr., and Agnes O. (McGee) McComas, Malcolm McComas, Judy (Huddleston) McComas Webb and Lyle Webb. She is survived by her cousins, D. Keith (and Femmie) McComas of Goulds, Florida, Jack McComas Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky, Fred (and Janet) D'Ingnazio, Lisa (and John) Owsley, Teri D'Ingnazio, Tim (and Nancy) D'Ingnazio, local cousins, Hon. Lanny Judd, Libby Riggins, Nancy Bochanan, Joe Howard Curtis, special friends, Don Evans CPA of Louisville, Kentucky, Edd Carley, Morgan Jarrell. As ordered by the Governor of Kentucky, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, all services were private, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Honarable Lanny Judd officiated. Casket bearers were Jeremy Cooksey, John Capps, Mark Dykes, Marty Dykes, Derric Williams and Dennis McWhorter. Burial was in the Burkesville Cemetery.
