Jarred Michael Davis

Jarred Michael Davis, 36, passed away January 16, 2024. He was born on Sunday, April 19, 1987, in Burkesville, Kentucky to Michael and Cathey (Barger) Davis, having resided in Lexington, Kentucky with his wife. He was of the Catholic faith having attended Holy Cross Catholic Church. Jarred was an avid car enthusiast, UK fan, passionate photographser of nature and sports, and enjoyed playing Pokemon Go; being a member of the Bluegrass Corvette Club, Kentucky Headturners, Lexington Photography Club, and POGO Lexington. Jarred was an amazingly fun, goofy, creative, loving, supportive, and cherished husband, son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend; and so much more.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Davis, father-in-law Charles Morgan; great-grandmother, Mary Irby; grandparents, Weldon “Corky” Davis, Pansy Barger Lee and Jim Barger; uncles Mike Irby and Robert Barger; cousins Andrew Weiss, Melissa Sells, Andrea Weiss Anderson.

Jarred is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Morgan Davis, and their fur babies, Meeka and Mya. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother Cathey Davis, brother Jeremy Davis; grandmother Molly Davis; mother-in-law Mollie Morgan; brothers-in-law Chris (Michele) Morgan, Travis (Jennifer) Morgan; sister-in-law JoElla (Larry) Crowder; uncles Jim (Carol) Davis, John (Charlotte) Davis; cousins Brian (Susan) Davis, Lori (Stephen) Milner, Josh (Lindsey) Davis, John (Tracey) Davis, Kim (Heidjer) Stacker, Brandon (Stephanie) Davis, Michaela (Eric) Reimer, Laurel Irby (David Feuston); aunts, Diane (Johnny) Carter, Alice Barger, Debra (Ricky) Spears; uncles Jimmy Barger, Anthony Barger; cousins Stacy (Craig) Bohne Nick Carter, Amber Grubb, Xzavier Ryan Spears, Nikki (Jordan) Anderson, Anthony Joseph Weiss (Jessica Grider), Austin Weiss, Amy Weiss (Kenneth Anderson); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family that will miss him greatly.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. C.S. T. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Greene, Bro. Jonathan Thacker, Bro. Gary Cash, and Father Augustine Joseph officiating. A private burial was in Somerset, Kentucky. Pallbearers were Larry Crowder, Anthony Weiss, Jonathan Thacker, and Josh Davis. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all funeral arrangements.
