Mrs. Gladys Fae (Bruce) Thompson of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 59 years, 4 months, and 11 days. She was born on Monday, January 18th, 1965 in Somerset, Kentucky, the daughter of John Travis & Mary Helen (Brown) Bruce. She was of the Christian faith, a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ, and a nurse practitioner for Fast Pace Urgent Care. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Bro. Keith Thompson of Burkesville, whom she wed Tuesday, November 20th, 1990, daughters, Ariel (& Zach) Mabe of Summershade, Kentucky, Keely Jo Thompson of Burkesville, siblings, Daniel Bruce of Whitley City, Kentucky, Darrell Bruce of Stearns, Kentucky, Jeannie (Bruce) Hicks, Marilyn (& Darrell) Bruce Chitwood, both of Whitley City, Kentucky, John T. Bruce Jr. of Strunk, Kentucky, Alice (& Ben) Bruce Henson of Helenwood, Tennessee, Barbie (Bruce) Beaty of Winfield, Tennessee, grandchildren, Zayden Mabe, Travis Mabe, Letty Mabe, and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Phillip & Cathey Thompson of Burkesville.

The funeral service was conducted on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. Raymond Castillo, Bro. Rick Garner officiating, and Derric Williams Song Leading. Burial was in the Lewis Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky. Casket Bearers were Matt Wilson, Curtis Wilson, Jeff Samms, John Finley, Zack Mabe, and Eric Branham.
