Geary Dan Groce

     Mr. Geary Dan Groce, of the Peytonsburg Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his residence in Cumberland County, Kentucky having attained the age of 67 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Sunday, August 14, 1955 the son of Willie Van and Aira Geneva (Riddle) Groce. He was Methodist, attended Red Banks Methodist Church, and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Vicky Avery, maternal grandmother, Pansy (Spears) Wagoman, paternal grandparents, Capp and Cora Groce, and aunt, Edith Murphy.

     He is survived by his mother, Aira Geneva (Riddle) Groce of Burkesville, Kentucky, brother, Larry (& Shelly) Groce of Indianapolis, Indiana, and uncle, Roger (& Katie) Riddle of Burkesville, Kentucky.

     The Funeral Service was conducted on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Casket bearers was Rogger Riddle, Ruben Aguayo, Brian Riddle, Jessie Capps, Joseph Henson, Sam Gibson. Honorary casket bearer was Timmy Riddle.  Burial was in the Groce Cemetery in Cumberland County, Ky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
