Frances "Sue" Allene (Flowers) Belden

Mrs. Frances Allene “Sue” (Flowers) Belden of Marysville, Indiana, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at her residence in Marysville, Indiana having attained the age of 75 years, 11 month & 24 days. She was born on Sunday, September 22, 1946, in Cumberland County, Kentucky the daughter of Mary Catherine (Farr) Flowers. She was of the Non-Denominational Faith, member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana, member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1757 in Sellersburg, Indiana, and was a Qualified Medical Assistant at Clark Memorial Hospital in Clark County, Indiana.

     She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Catherine (Farr) Flowers, father, James (& Ruby) Farr, brother, James Alvin Farr, sister, Diane Kay Farr, grandparents, Martin (& Myrtie) Farr.  

     She is survived by her husband, Walter David Belden, whom she wed on Saturday, October 12, 1968, children, David Richard (& Hope) Belden of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Daniel James (& Michelle) Belden of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, William Paul (& Teresa) Belden of Fisherville, Kentucky, Rebecca Allene (& Matt) Bays of Sellersburg, Indiana, siblings, Howard (& Doris) Flowers of Brooks, Kentucky, Waymon (& Shirley) Flowers of Brooks, Kentucky, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family members and many, many friends.

     The funeral service was conducted on Monday, September 19, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Special singing by Jasmine Daugherty. Casket bearers were David Belden, Daniel Belden, Paul Belden, Matt Bays, Zack Belden, and Nick Daugherty. Burial was in the Leslie Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. 

     Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
