Emit "Junior" Henry Bow

Mr. Emit Henry Bow Jr., of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the Bowling Green Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky having attained the age of 68 years, 1 month & 16 days. He was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1954, in Cumberland County, Kentucky the son of William Henry and Kretchel Pearl (Bowlin) Bow. He was of the Baptist Faith, and a mechanic for Carhartt.

     He is preceded in death by his parents.

     He is survived by his wife, Randa J. Bow, whom he wed on Tuesday, January 28, 1975, sons, Shannon Bow both of Burkesville, Kentucky, Brandon (& Angi) Bow of Albany, Kentucky, daughter, Amanda (& Shane) Allen of Danville, Kentucky, sister, Rebecca Milam of Burkesville, Kentucky, niece, Amy Stilts, nephews, Floyd Thacker, Kevin Thacker, Grandchildren, Makayla Morrison, Cameron Scott, Peyton Bow, Jordan Scott, Christian Bow, Emily Bow, Miguel Gomez, Elijah Bow, Isaac Bow, Ayra Bella Bow, Keegan Bow, Katylin Thompson, T.J. Thompson.  

     The funeral service was conducted on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky with Bro. Jeff Flowers officiating. Casket bearers were Ed Bowlin, Tim Edwards, Chris Ervin, Freddie Froedge, Kevin Thacker, Floyd Thacker, Jerry Willis, and Larry Willis. Burial was in Bow School House Cemetery. 

     Norris-New Funeral Home was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
