EDSEL KEITH ELLIOTT

Mr. Edsel Keith Elliott of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky having attained the age of 70 years, and 16 days. He was born on Sunday, November 13, 1955, in Burkesville, Kentucky, the son of Otis Keith & Patty Nell (Lawson) Elliott. He was of the Christian faith and a devoted member of the Burkesville Community Church. A proud patriot, he served in the United States Marine Corps, where he attained the rank of Lance Corporal. Following his military service, he built a strong work ethic and reputation as a line supervisor for Akebono Brake Co.. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Carol Elliott, his sisters, Akra Wilburn, Audrey Tooley and Donna Elliott.

He is survived by his children, Colletta Elliott (& Emmanuel Santiago), Jory Elliott, both of Burkesville, Kentucky, Devon Elliott of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dakota Elliott of Burkesville, Kentucky, Aubrey Elliott of Kansas; sister, Angela (& Ricky) Hamilton of Burkesville, Kentucky; special friend, Teschia Beaty of Burkesville; ten grandchildren and a host of friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. James Starks, and Bro. Ronnie Bryant officiating. Casket Bearers were Emmanuel Santiago, R.D Tooley, Nathan Wilburn, Michael Connor, Patrick Hamilton, Ashton Todd Beaty, Seth Steele, Dakota Elliott, and Jory Elliott. Burial was in the Lawson Bottom Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
