Dorothy Marie (Anderson) Branham

Mrs. Dorothy Marie (Anderson) Branham of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 1, 2021, at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 80 years, 8 months, and 21 days. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, on Friday, April 11, 1941, the daughter of Rossie Lee and Maggie Lousetty (Testament) Anderson. She was of the Baptist faith, member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Moss Tennessee, and a Loving housewife.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Holland Branham whom she wed on Thursday, December 24, 1964, siblings, Lecil Anderson, Cecil Anderson, Hazel Williams, Father and Mother-In-Law, Rosie and Claude Branham.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Branham of  Burkesville, Kentucky, ex-daughter-in-law, Cynthia Branham of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Mary (& Dewey) Arnett of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, Mamie Poindexter of Cookeville, Tennessee, Rossie Jr. (& Joyce) Anderson of Celina Tennessee, Lucille Sherrels of Moss, Tennessee, Jerry (& Diane) Anderson of Moss, Tennessee, Mabel (&Georgie) Barnes of Indianapolis, Indiana, Ella Mae Kerr of Indianapolis, Indiana, along with many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Marie (Anderson) Branham was conducted on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Freedom  #2 Church in Monroe County with Bro. Terry Ford officiating. Casket bearers were Tommy Branham, Scott Barnes, Jr. Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Lucas Sherrels, Ryan Guenther. Burial was in the Freedom #2 Cemetery in Monroe County, Kentucky.
