Doris Elizabeth (Jones) Rohr

Mrs. Doris Elizabeth (Jones) Rohr, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky having attained the age of 70 years, 9 months & 17 days. She was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico on Saturday, April 05, 1952 the daughter of Marvin and Mary (Shea) Jones. She was of the Catholic faith, member of the Kettle Homemakers Club, Volunteer at the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry, and with the Commodities Program, and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, George Jones, and Pat Jones.

     She is survived by her husband, Joe Rohr, whom she wed on Saturday, June 07, 1980, children, Kimberly (& Lucas) Earnest of Radcliff, Kentucky, Jeremy Rohr of Phoenix, Arizona, siblings, Agnes, John, LeRoy, Margaret, Grace, Fran, Robert, Barbara, grandchildren, Kayla Earnest, Ryan Earnest, Jilliam Rohr along with several friends.

     The Funeral service was conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Augustine Joseph officiating. Burial was in the Rohr Family Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Casket bearers were Jeremy Rohr, Lucas, Jillian Rohr, Kayla Earnest, Jim Roth, and John Collier. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials to the Feed My Sheep Food Pantry of Burkesville, Kentucky. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of arrangements.
