Diana Lewis Hurley

Mrs. Diana Lewis Hurley, 74 of Louisville passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Diana was a gentle soul with a heart of gold. Her roots ran deep in the soil of Cumberland County and was a true country girl at heart. Diana loved to fish, loved animals and was a lifelong cat mom. She sat through countless hours of Ron’s softball games, planned the logistics and chaperoned his out-of-town softball tournaments. She was a fabulous cook. She and Ron hosted many years of holiday dinners at their home. We will surely miss her amazing meals and loving company.

Diana was retired from the Small Business Administration and was a longtime member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church.

Diana was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Evans Hurley, Lance Corporal, USMC and her parents, Evans F. and Justina Radford Lewis.

She is survived by her husband Ronald William Hurley and her sister-in-law, Dottie Hurley Prevost, several nieces and nephews and treasured friends.

Visitation was from 10 AM till 8 PM E.S.T. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, July 11, 2025 at her Church, St. Stephen Martyr, 2931 Pindell Avenue at Hess Lane. She was interred in her family cemetery, Howard’s Bottom Cemetery in Cumberland County at 1:00 PM C.S.T. on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
