Mr. Dennis Lee Young of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday May 01, 2020, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Kentucky having attained the age of 63 years, 1 month and 15 days. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, March 16, 1957, the son of Dennis Scott Young and Patricia Smith Young Eaton. He was of the Christian Faith, a member of the Pleasant Hill Union Church, he was a business owner, and also a Truck Service Technician. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann King, sisters-in-law, Rosalie Cornett Menard, Penny Nellems. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Young Eaton of Phoenix, Arizona, wife, Thena Marie Cornett Young of Burkesville, Kentucky whom he wed on Friday, December 23, 1983, children, Robert Lee Young of Burkesville, Kentucky, Shawn Allen Young of Grand Junction, Colorado, siblings, Robert (and Liz) Young of Phoenix, Arizona, David Young of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchild, Marinda Skye Young, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martha Fruit of Kentucky, Steven Cornett of Gadston, Alabama, Lisa (and David) Thacker of Burkesville, Kentucky, Jeff (and Leisa) Cornett of Albany, Kentucky, Cindy (and James) Lolly of Florida, Arch (and Faye) Cornett of Ohio, April (and Wayne) Ripley of Ohio, half sisters-in-law, Bonnie Sears of Florida, Carolyn (and Billy) McNichols of Ohio. As ordered by the Governor of Kentucky, and in accordance with the CDC guidelines, all services are private, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
