Deanna (Scott) Willis

Mrs. Deanna (Scott) Willis, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at her home in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 74 years, 1 month and 13 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Friday, January 13, 1950, the daughter of Johnie Scott and Ermon (Crawley) Scott. She was of the Christian faith, a life-long member of the Rose of Sharon Church, and worked as a caseworker for Community Based Services. Deanna held many positions through the years but wife, mother, and grandmother were her favorites. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Millard C. Willis, whom she wed on Saturday July 9, 1966, daughter, Melita (Willis) & Clifford A. Schuenaman Jr., all of Burkesville, Kentucky, granddaughters, Lillian Grace Schuenaman, Amber Rose Schuenaman, fur son, Taz, and a host of relatives and friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, February, 29, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Noon C.S. T. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with family officiating. Burial was in the Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. Pallbearers were David Willis, Timmy Willis, Carter Fletcher, David Mann, Josh Harris, and Jonathan Thacker. Honorary Pallbearer were Stanley Stockton, Levi Scott, Josh Burchett, Jace Fletcher, Avery Ratford, and Tyler Thacker. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to We Care, P.O. Box 695, Burkesville, Kentucky, 42717.
