Danny Wells

Mr. Danny Irvin Wells of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky having attained the age of 70 years, 1 months, and 16 days. He was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1955, in Albany, Kentucky, the son of Fred Earl & Dovie (Neal) Wells. He was of the Christian faith, and was a hardworking farmer for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Wells, Marcus Wells and Earl Wells.
He is survived by his siblings, Shirley (& Johnny) Hoots of Glasgow, Kentucky, Donnie (& Darlene) Wells of Columbia Kentucky, Joe Wells of Glasgow, Kentucky, nieces, Janice, Julie, Tina (& Mark), Lisa, nephews, Jason (& Erin), Gerard (& Tabatha), Chris, Cody, Greg, great-nieces, Courtney, Kimber, Riley, Juliet, Gretchen, great-nephew, Tyler, Tristen, Noah, Grayson, and great-great-nephew, Colt, great-great-nieces, Laynie, Piper.
The funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Thurman officiating. Pallbearers were Jason Hoots, Gerard Hoots, Tylert Thurman, Tristan Hoots, Mark Thurman, Greg Wells, and a honorary pallbearer, Kimber Hoots. Burial was in the Gains Hill Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. 
Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of all the arrangements.
