Carolyn Jean (Capps) Reynolds

Ms. Carolyn Jean (Capps) Reynolds, of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at T.J Sampson Community Hospital in Glasgow, Kentucky having attained the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 6 days. She was born in New Albany, Indiana on Friday July 18, 1958, the daughter of Horace Capps & Reba Evelyn (Teel) Capps. She was of the Christian faith and worked as a CNA for Cumberland Valley Manor. She found great enjoyment in reading, crocheting, watching TV, and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Burns.

She is survived by her children, Jerra (& Christian) Miller of Celina, Ohio, Trista Reynolds of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Teresa McGill (& Steve) of Denton Texas, Doug (& Lisa) Capps of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Tammy C. Thurman of Louisville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Abel Baldwin, Serenity Moore, and Maverick Miller.

The funeral service was conducted on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 1:00 P.M in the Memory Chapel at Norris-New Funeral Home with memories and reflections shared by her sister Teresa McGill and other family members. Pallbearers were Sidney Allen, Adam Capps, Doug Capps, Christian Miller, and Mike Teel. Burial was in Myers Ridge Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.

Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky, was honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
