Betty (Groce) Capps

Betty Capps, age 81, of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 26 2021.  Betty was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on January 11, 1940, to the late Ray and Ellen Flowers Groce. Betty was a Christian who served at Independent Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen Capps; her siblings; Cornell Coop, Bobby Groce and Eudean Groce. She leaves to cherish her memory her  daughter, Carolyn Baker (Jim); son, Terry Capps (Paula); grandchildren, Joshua and Daniel (Lindsey) Embry and Megann Carter (Brandon) and Justin Capps (Erin), step grandson, David Baker (Arden); great grandchildren, Kameron, Leah, Jacie, Quinn Embry, Austin and Maci Carter; sisters Estelle Goff, Teva Kessinger (Steve) and Faye Swanner (Larry); and a host of loved ones. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial   in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects on Thursday from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
