Anna Marie Crawley Wright

Mrs. Anna Marie (Crawley) Wright, of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky having attained the age of 81 years, 11 month & 10 days. She was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Tuesday, July 18, 1939 the daughter of Willie V. and Sarah (Vincent) Crawley. She was of the Baptist faith, member of Branham Grove Baptist Church, secretary for Bob Evans Mfg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her, brothers and sisters, Erom Scott, Mabel Sells, Albie Scott, Kenneth Crawley, Willie J. Crawley, and one infant brother. At the time of her death she was survived by her sister-in-law, Marie (Wright) Capps, who has since passed on Tuesday, June 29.

     She is survived by her husband, J.D. Wright, whom she wed on Saturday, May 18, 1962 of Burkesville, Kentucky, daughter, Jana (& J.R.) Thacker of Burkesville, Kentucky, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Frank(& Randa) Wright, of Burkesville, Kentucky, David (& Beverly) Wright of Bowling Green, Kentucky, grandson Tyler Thacker of Burkesville, Kentucky, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     The Funeral was conducted on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Catron officiating. Casket bearers were J.R. Thacker, Jeremy Wright, Jace Fletcher, Millard Willis, Rick Smith, David Wright. Honorary Casket Bearers were Tyler Thacker, Dr. Samuel Rice, Karter Fletcher, Rickey Fletcher, Jessie Jennings, Payne Jennings, Johnny Hoots, Ronnie Jennings, Frank Wright, Jade Wright, Rick and her friends from Bob Evans Cutting Department. Burial followed in the Branham Grove Cemetery. Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky was honored to be in charge of the arrangements.
