Mr. Albert “Albo” Teal Parrish of Somerset, Kentucky, formally of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 at his residence in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 73 years, 9 months and 28 days. He was born on Sunday, December 31, 1950 in Danville, Kentucky, the son of Eddie & Beulah (Stephenson) Parrish. He was of the Christian faith and was a farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ivan Parrish, Edward Parrish, and Dallas Parrish, sisters, Elizabeth Uptain, Lou Willie Anderson, Beatrice Vaughn, Joyce Myers, Vanetta Kay Jackson, and infant sister.
He is survived by his daughters, Loretta (& David) Curry of Somerset, Kentucky, Kathy (& Chad) Davidson of Burkesville, Kentucky, half brothers, Alton Parrish, and Joe Parrish, both of Glasgow, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jasper (& Savannah) Curry, Jacob (& Alyssa) Curry, Nevaeh Gore, Oakleigh Davidson, Haven Davidson, Jolene Davidson, great-grandchildren, Easton Brown, Theodore Curry, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family has chosen cremation, and a memorial service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions appreciated to the Albert Parrish Memorial Fund, c/o Norris-New Funeral Home.
